Who we are

Bubbling measures how large language models (GPT, Gemini and others) perceive brands and products. We are positioning ourselves on Generative Engine Optimization — an emerging category driven by the shift of product discovery from search engines to AI assistants. Our product simulates multi-turn conversations with realistic personas, then aggregates them into brand-perception insights.

The mission

You work across the whole stack, from application backend to frontend, through the AI engine and infrastructure:

  • Evolve the NestJS / TypeScript backend (monorepo: synchronous API via Fastify and event-driven orchestrator on AWS SQS, plus around fifteen shared libraries).
  • Contribute to the Python AI engine: persona generation pipeline, system prompts, responses and analysis, built on an extensible provider abstraction (OpenAI, Gemini and beyond).
  • Build and improve the frontend.
  • Work with the AWS-native infrastructure described in Terraform (SQS, CloudFront, ALB, containerised workloads).
  • Ensure quality: tests, reliability (transactional outbox, transactions, audit), multi-tenant security (CASL, database-level isolation).
  • Capitalise on our internal tooling — code assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) powered via an MCP server exposing project architecture and documentation.

Who we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in full-stack development, with real ease on the Node/TypeScript backend and a taste for Python.
  • Comfortable with event-driven architectures, queues, multi-tenancy and the reliability challenges of a B2B SaaS application.
  • LLM mastery on both dimensions of the role: integrating and orchestrating model APIs (OpenAI, Gemini…, provider-agnostic design); and as a personal productivity lever (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot in your daily workflow).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and the AWS ecosystem is a strong plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you want to build a product and a team, not execute a spec. Autonomy, product sense, ability to trade off velocity and quality.
